The Kentucky Economic Opportunity Map is a dynamic visual tool that uses census and public data to highlight economic stability indicators across Kentucky counties. These indicators encompass education, income, workforce, occupation, demographics, home ownership, business ownership, and healthcare access.
Guided by the University of Kentucky Economic Development Collaborative, this project aims to showcase community strengths and opportunities, supporting informed decision-making and strategic investments in the local economy of all Kentucky counties.
By visually representing challenges and opportunities, the map facilitates the exploration of innovative ways to define economic opportunities and visualize sustainable solutions.
