The Economic Development Collaborative leads select initiatives that benefit from cross-unit collaboration, bringing multiple university units together to tackle complex challenges more effectively than any single unit could alone. Growing Our Own is an ongoing series of workshops designed to empower Kentucky-owned businesses. In partnership with Commerce Lexington, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet, the KY APEX Accelerator, and the Kentucky Small Business Development Center, each workshop equips local small businesses with tools and resources they need to thrive and succeed in the region.
