University-wide Navigation

The University of Kentucky’s Supplier Diversity Program has released its schedule for the upcoming classes/ webinars it is leading in partnership with Kentucky Procurement Technical Assistance Program (KYPTAC).

The Supplier Diversity Program works to ensure that UK is committed to serving as an advocate for diverse businesses in their efforts to conduct business. These webinars help to facilitate that vision by equipping diverse businesses with education on how to do business with UK.

“We want businesses to know how to access opportunities at the University of Kentucky. These classes really highlight the wonderful work done by the category specialists in our Purchasing Department. Everything the university purchases runs through this office,” said Marilyn Clark, Supplier Diversity Manager.

The first webinar is scheduled for September 8th and will cover "How to do Business with the University of Kentucky Agriculture, Athletics, and Research & Development". Other webinars include “How to do Business with University of Kentucky Construction Projects Under $1 Million Dollars,” and “How to do Business with UK Healthcare,”. For the full list, click here.

"I am excited about the expansion of our campus with over $2B in construction projects planned.  Half of our classes will focus on how to prepare for upcoming construction projects,” said Clark.

Businesses must register to attend, but all classes are free. To register, click here.
